These Articles of Incorporation will be placed on file immediately upon receipt unless a delayed filing date is specified; this delayed filing date should be within 90 days from submission.

While the Secretary of State does check your proposed corporate name against its own database to determine if it is considered distinguishable from others on file, checking the name for regional or federal trademark availability or against other corporations formed in other states is not included in the cost to incorporate in Tennessee.
